CASE STUDY 02 / PERSONAL PORTFOLIO CONCEPT

A point of view,
made visible.

AR. is an illustrative portfolio concept for a multidisciplinary creative. The experience gives selected work the space to speak, while making the person and their perspective clear from the first screen.

The challenge
in plain language.

Creative portfolios have two jobs: show the work and help the right people understand the mind behind it. Too much interface chrome can distract from the work; too little context can make it hard to understand the creator’s role.

This concept tests an editorial direction that balances personality, discoverability, and practical navigation without pretending to represent a real commissioned portfolio.

The design
approach.

Let typography set the tone. Oversized serif headlines bring a magazine-like voice to a clean layout.

Keep navigation familiar. Work, About, and Notes are simple labels that support scanning rather than compete with it.

Make room for imagery. The composition reserves generous space for project thumbnails and case details to be added in a real build.

01 / IDENTITY

Recognisable point of view

Type, warm neutrals, and controlled contrast give the portfolio a distinct visual voice.

02 / DISCOVERY

Work first, friction low

Project-led navigation helps a visitor move quickly from the introduction to relevant examples.

03 / RESPONSIVE

Editorial at every size

Large type scales down and supporting elements reflow so the experience remains readable on mobile.

This is a self-initiated concept. “AR.” is a fictional creative identity used to demonstrate direction; no client relationship or performance results are implied.
